Add gas absorption to all diagonal elements of extinction matrix.

The task of this method is to sum up the gas absorption of the different gas species and add the result to the extinction matrix.

Parameters:

  • ext_mat (PropagationMatrix, optional) – Total extinction matrix. See ext_mat, defaults to self.ext_mat [INOUT]

  • propmat_clearsky (PropagationMatrix, optional) – This contains the absorption coefficients for one point in the atmosphere. See propmat_clearsky, defaults to self.propmat_clearsky [IN]

  • verbosity (Verbosity) – ARTS verbosity. See verbosity, defaults to self.verbosity [IN]
