The WSV jacobian is both in- and output. As input variable, jacobian is assumed to be valid for the previous iteration. For the first iteration the input jacobian shall be set to have size zero, to flag that there is not yet any calculated Jacobian.

Parameters:

• yf (Vector) – A fitted measurement vector. See yf [OUT]

• jacobian (Matrix) – The Jacobian matrix. See jacobian [OUT]

• x (Vector) – The state vector. See x [IN]

• jacobian_do (Index) – Flag to activate (clear-sky) Jacobian calculations. See jacobian_do [IN]

• inversion_iteration_counter (Index) – Iteration counter variable for inversion_iterate_agenda. See inversion_iteration_counter [IN]
