Makes mc_antenna (used by MCGeneral) a 2D Gaussian pattern.

The gaussian antenna pattern is determined by za_sigma and aa_sigma, which represent the standard deviations in the uncorrelated bivariate normal distribution.

  • mc_antenna (MCAntenna, optional) – Antenna pattern description for dedicated MC calculaions. See mc_antenna, defaults to self.mc_antenna [OUT]

  • za_sigma (Numeric) – Width in the zenith angle dimension as described above. [IN]

  • aa_sigma (Numeric) – Width in the azimuth angle dimension as described above. [IN]

  • verbosity (Verbosity) – ARTS verbosity. See verbosity, defaults to self.verbosity [IN]
