abs_speciesDefineAllInScenario

Workspace.abs_speciesDefineAllInScenario(self: pyarts.arts._Workspace, abs_species: Optional[Union[pyarts.arts.WorkspaceVariable, pyarts.arts.ArrayOfArrayOfSpeciesTag]] = self.abs_species, propmat_clearsky_agenda_checked: Optional[Union[pyarts.arts.WorkspaceVariable, pyarts.arts.Index]] = self.propmat_clearsky_agenda_checked, basename: Union[pyarts.arts.WorkspaceVariable, pyarts.arts.String], verbosity: Optional[Union[pyarts.arts.WorkspaceVariable, pyarts.arts.Verbosity]] = self.verbosity) None

Define one tag group for each species known to ARTS and included in an atmospheric scenario.

You can use this as an alternative to abs_speciesSet() if you want to make an absorption calculation that is as complete as possible. The method goes through all defined species and tries to open the VMR file. If this works the tag is included, otherwise it is skipped.

Parameters:
  • abs_species (ArrayOfArrayOfSpeciesTag, optional) – Tag groups for gas absorption. See abs_species, defaults to self.abs_species [OUT]

  • propmat_clearsky_agenda_checked (Index, optional) – OK-flag for propmat_clearsky_agenda. See propmat_clearsky_agenda_checked, defaults to self.propmat_clearsky_agenda_checked [OUT]

  • basename (String) – The basename of a particular atmospheric scenario. If it points to a directory, it has to end with a /For example: /data/arts-xml-data/planets/Earth/Fascod/tropical/tropical. [IN]

  • verbosity (Verbosity) – ARTS verbosity. See verbosity, defaults to self.verbosity [IN]
