SpectralRadianceTransformOperator

class pyarts3.arts.SpectralRadianceTransformOperator(*args, **kwargs)

Transformation of spectral_radiance and spectral_radiance_jacobian

This type of transformation should be used limitedly. It is useful as the last step before creating a measurement_vector, as it is used for in measurement_vectorFromSensor() or just before displaying data in a plotting routine. It will destroy the spectral_radiance and spectral_radiance_jacobian and replace them with the transformed values. They can likely not be reused for further calculations.

Throws RuntimeError for any failure to read

savexml(self, file: str, type: str = 'ascii', clobber: bool = True) str

Saves variable to file

Parameters:
  • file (str) – The path to which the file is written. Note that several of the options might modify the name or write more files

  • type (str) – Type of file to save. See FileType for options.

  • clobber (bool) – Overwrite existing files or add new file with modified name?
