Use alt_grid to create a coupled atmospheric and subsurface DisortSettings.

The surface elevation at the input lat and lon must be within the alt_grid range. When used to compute disort_spectral_rad_field or disort_spectral_flux_field, their respective internal altitude grids will contain the surface elevation as a grid point.

Parameters:
  • atm_disort_settings (DisortSettings, optional) – Contains the full settings of spectral Disort calculations for atmospheric conditions. See atm_disort_settings, defaults to self.atm_disort_settings [OUT]

  • subsurf_disort_settings (DisortSettings, optional) – Contains the full settings of spectral Disort calculations for subsurface conditions. See subsurf_disort_settings, defaults to self.subsurf_disort_settings [OUT]

  • atm_disort_settings_agenda (Agenda, optional) – A specialization of disort_settings_agenda for atmospheric calculations. See atm_disort_settings_agenda, defaults to self.atm_disort_settings_agenda [IN]

  • surf_field (SurfaceField, optional) – The surface field. See surf_field, defaults to self.surf_field [IN]

  • freq_grid (AscendingGrid, optional) – A frequency grid. Unit: Hz. See freq_grid, defaults to self.freq_grid [IN]

  • alt_grid (AscendingGrid, optional) – An ascending list of alt. Often related to a field or a profile. See alt_grid, defaults to self.alt_grid [IN]

  • lat (Numeric, optional) – A single latitude. See lat, defaults to self.lat [IN]

  • lon (Numeric, optional) – A single longitude. See lon, defaults to self.lon [IN]

  • disort_quadrature_dimension (Index, optional) – The quadrature size for Disort. See disort_quadrature_dimension, defaults to self.disort_quadrature_dimension [IN]

  • disort_fourier_mode_dimension (Index, optional) – The number of Fourier modes for Disort. See disort_fourier_mode_dimension, defaults to self.disort_fourier_mode_dimension [IN]
