Workspace.atm_fieldAbsoluteMagneticField(self, atm_field: AtmField = self.atm_field) → None

Set the magnetic field to use the magnitude field functional.

The input field must be a GeodeticField3 for all three parameters to call this method.

The main purpose of this method is to retrieve the magnitude rather than the vector field.

atm_field (~pyarts3.arts.AtmField, optional) – An atmospheric field in ARTS, this is the main atmospheric data structure in ARTS. Defaults to self.atm_field. [INOUT]
